Breast Ultrasound Screening Event Comes to The Treasury May 21, Offering Women Greater Peace of Mind Through Early Detection
Oklahoma City, OK – May 21, 2026 — Women in Oklahoma City will have access to an important early detection resource when HerScan, a provider of breast ultrasound screenings, comes to The Treasury on May 21, 2026. Breast ultrasound screenings can increase detection rates up to 96% for women with dense breast tissue, offering an additional layer of reassurance beyond traditional mammograms.
The event was brought to The Treasury by Kari Moroz, a trauma informed breast cancer recovery coach and 20 year stage 3 breast cancer survivor who is passionate about helping women feel supported and informed throughout their health journey.
“Early detection and emotional support can make a significant difference in outcomes,” said Moroz. “As someone who has personally experienced breast cancer, I understand how overwhelming uncertainty can feel. My goal is to ensure no woman feels alone when navigating questions about her health.”
Moroz will be on site throughout the day providing guidance, answering questions, and offering aftercare support to women attending their screening appointments.
Dense breast tissue is common and can make cancer more difficult to detect on traditional mammograms alone. Breast ultrasound screenings offer an additional screening option that may provide clarity and peace of mind for women seeking proactive information about their breast health.
Appointments for the May 21 screening event are available through HerScan.
